Current status
The official Google connector is currently in access review / pre-production. Production Google OAuth access is not yet generally available, and PowerSEO Control is not connected to live Google Business Profile data for general users today. This page describes what the product is being built to do — not capabilities that are already generally available. We make no claim of Google endorsement or approval.
What the workspace is built to do
Collect evidence
Gather configuration and status evidence from connected sources so an audit is grounded in what was actually observed.
Evaluate deterministic rules
Run the same rule set every time. A check is ready or needs attention for a stated, repeatable reason.
Compare against approved facts
Observed profile fields are compared with the business facts the client has approved, so drift is visible.
Keep source and timestamps
Each piece of evidence records where it came from and when it was captured, so findings can be re-checked later.
Prepare remediation
Findings turn into explicit, previewable remediation actions rather than vague recommendations.
Authorized changes only
Any future profile write must be initiated or approved by an authorized user, and the action is recorded.
Authorized Google Business Profile access
When the connector becomes available, a user connects a Google account only for Business Profiles they own or are authorized to manage. The minimum Google scope planned is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage.
Reads are used to populate the visible audit: profile fields, access and verification signals, and supported profile content evidence. Any write to a profile must be initiated or approved by an authorized user and is recorded in the change history.
